Why has HTH chosen to incorporate internet technologies into its operations?

The internet has emerged as the international standard in interactive communication. It is a fast, inexpensive and secure way to transmit detailed information across countries and time zones in a structured way. The internet has become essential to businesses worldwide, and healthcare organizations are also recognizing its advantages. Physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals are using the internet to conduct email discussions with colleagues and to access literature searches and other valuable services. Many physician and dentist practices are putting up their own web pages to advertise themselves and attract new patients.

It is not necessary to be an internet user to participate as an HTH provider. While we expect that internet technology will be important to healthcare delivery in the future, through our customer service center we will work with providers who have not yet embraced the use of the internet in their practices.

Of course, Members also do not need to be internet users to take advantage of HTH's products and services. HTH offers toll-free telephone access to all its customers.
